Black Zardozi & Mukaish Potli
Tax excluded. Shipping calculated at checkout
An heirloom of dramatic elegance, this luxury potli bag is anchored on a premium, structured black silk base that provides a striking contrast to its dense, regal hand-embroidery. At its heart lies an intricate, mirrored pair of majestic paisley (Kalka) bootas, entirely rendered in ornate Zardozi and glowing Mukaish work using antique silver and gold bullion threads. Swirling vine patterns and delicate floral creepers elegantly arch outwards to frame the central design, while the upper neck features a meticulously detailed, wavy geometric trim. Finished with a coordinating embellished top handle and weighed down by magnificent, heavy clusters of hand-beaded metallic tassels, it represents the absolute pinnacle of classic Awadhi craftsmanship.
DISCLAIMER: KEEP AWAY FROM MOISTURE. SPOT CLEAN ONLY.
We recommend hand wash and dry clean only for our garments. Hand wash separately in cold water with mild detergents.
Embroidery stains can usually be removed by dipping the garment in a solution of detergent and water, follow it with a soft bristle brush that can be used to gently remove the spots.
Do not rub the garment as it could damage the embroidery permanently. Do not bleach.
After washing, never wring your Chikankari outfits. Instead, roll it in a clean towel and let it absorb the water. Leave it to dry in shade.
