This semi-stitched Chanderi Banarasi silk ensemble is a masterpiece of texture and tone. The Mauve Plum base is woven with traditional Banarasi zari bootis and gold-lined borders, creating a regal canvas for the handcrafted white thread Chikankari.
The intricate floral vines on the neckline and bodice are meticulously highlighted with shimmering sequins, while the vertical panels feature delicate mirror-work (Abhala) for a touch of light-catching brilliance.
We recommend hand wash and dry clean only for our garments. Hand wash separately in cold water with mild detergents.
Embroidery stains can usually be removed by dipping the garment in a solution of detergent and water, follow it with a soft bristle brush that can be used to gently remove the spots.
Do not rub the garment as it could damage the embroidery permanently. Do not bleach.
After washing, never wring your Chikankari outfits. Instead, roll it in a clean towel and let it absorb the water. Leave it to dry in shade.
